Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is called “The Silent Killer”. Some women do not know they have this disease until they have a fall which could result in a fracture. The major sites are hips, wrist and spine. Bone loading such as body weight, free weights, bands or fixed resistance machines in the gym will do it. If you have the desire to live a full, healthy, pain free life, then now is the time to start to move more!
(As with any new exercise regime please obtain the all clear from you GP or doctor).
At this point of your life if you have never exercised then I cannot express enough how important it is to follow some simple rules. There are some exercises that cannot be done if you have Osteoporosis. If you are unsure as to what is safe then sign up to my newsletter or follow me on Instagram or join our closed Facebook group where I offer daily free advice on what you should be doing.
